Bohemia, Carinthia and Tyrol under the rule of Henry of Carinthia

BOHEMIA, CARINTHIA AND TYROL UNDER THE RULE OF HENRY OF CARINTHIA (JAKUB RAZIM) ABSTRACT The aim of this dissertation is to describe the governing practice (Herrschaftspraxis) of Henry of Carinthia in Bohemia, Carinthia and, subsequently, especially in the Tyrol, in whose southern parts the power base of the Menhart dynasty was situated. The work focuses on four key features of Henry's rule - constructing consensus between ruler and elites, exploiting feudal rights, the use of mortgages, and the use of culture to project political themes. The analysis of the various power techniques used is divided into individual chapters drawing on sources previously unpublished or insufficiently explored. The first group consists of Tyrolean chancery registers (Tiroler Kanzleiregister) and accounts books (Tiroler Rechnungsbücher, alternatively Raitbücher), the second of Austrian court poetry. Following the initial introduction of the sources, bibliography and methodology used for dealing with this particular topic, the consensual context is introduced, within which the rule of Henry of Carinthia was conducted, ranging from informal consultations to deliberations of the royal council. Jörg Haider and Austria Far Right

The barcherlor thesis "Jörg Haider and austrian far right " deals with the assumptions of political success of Jörg Haider as the leader of Austrian Freedom Party. From 1986 when Haider was elected as chairman to 2000 when the FPÖ became the member of coalition, the election result has been increased from 9,7% to 26,9%. In order to undestand this changing of voter's preferences are concidered the theories of far right and populism. This thesis discusses the assumptions of the political potential for increasing election results of the far right in Austria. There are concidered the facts how has the Austrian society been changed in the last half of the century including the general development in the Western Europe involving the theory of the sillent counter-revolution. There is analysed the role of Haider as the charimatic leader and the development of the austrian far right after his death and points out the topics of continuing populism.
The creation of a holiday package to the Austrian state Carinthia

The aim of this thesis is to create a unique incentive trip to Austria, according to the demand of the client. It is well-known insurance company which wishes to create a holiday package for their agents. It is made according to the technique of the travel agent Traveller. First, all the requirements are consulted and the group of the clients is characterized. Then the destination and accommodation facility are chosen. Also the optional tours in the surrounding area and the programme for the group with partial itinerary are included. After that the calculation is accomplished. In the last chapter, this tour is compared with the competitors in the market. The benefit of this work is to create a special incentive trip with a complete program for insurance agents into a very popular tourist area.
